How do I wash my mattress protector?
Washing your Hygge Sheet is simple. Just place it in the washing machine at a maximum temperature of 40°C on a normal cycle.
We recommend avoiding fabric conditioner or bleach, as these may degrade the waterproof layer. However, standard washing detergents are safe to use. Your Hygge Sheet can be washed up to 300 times while remaining waterproof.
How do I dry my mattress protector?
Drying is quick and can be done in several ways.For fast drying, tumble dry on low heat. Alternatively, you can hang it on a washing line, a clothes dryer, or a radiator.
How do I remove stains?
If you get a stain on your Hygge Sheet, we recommend using a cleaner like Vanish as you would do with other stains on clothing. You can then follow this with a normal wash. Don’t use bleach on your Hygge Sheet.
Will the mattress protector cover the whole bed?
Unlike conventional mattress protectors, Hygge Sheets are not designed to cover the entire bed.
Instead, they are made for easy changes while still providing protection for the mattress and sheets from nighttime accidents.
How do I fit the mattress protector onto my child's bed?
Lay the sheet on top of the normal fitted sheet and tuck the flaps around either side of the mattress. Your child can sleep on top of the Hygge Sheet allowing for easier bed changes in the night.
What size mattress protector should I buy?
Our single mattress protector fits single sized beds, toddler beds, cot beds, and bunk beds.
If you have a double bed or small double - our double mattress protector are the perfect choice.
What's the difference between polyester and bamboo sheets?
The polyester sheets have a soft top layer that's designed to feel cosy and comfortable. They come patterned or plain and are exclusive to our children's range.
Our bamboo sheets have a top layer made from 100% viscose, derived from organically grown bamboo. This cooling material is naturally smooth and silky, making it a great choice for those with sensitive skin.

This waterproof sheet worked well for my child. It feels really high quality and happy with how well it washes. Even better that it can be tumble dried too! It protects the mattress and is a good product, will be buying some more for when we are travelling or when they stay at the grandparents house!

Don’t think I could live without these! In fact, have packed them in our bags for holidays! My favourite is definitely the bamboo sheets, they are soft to sleep on, super absorbent and dry very quickly. I use them for both my 3 year old and 2 year old.
These are fab. They are soft and tuck in much better than I thought they might. No slipping or moving at night which is excellent. They are really absorbent, nothing leaks onto the sheet at all. I highly recommend them.

Well…since we received the mattress protector my child has not had any bed wetting accidents. So I am really pleased 😁 but I can’t judge the absorbency yet. The protectors feel really thick and high quality. The bamboo layer is super soft and comfortable to sleep on. My child does not mind sleeping on them.

I bought the bamboo mattress protector as I’d already bought from Hygge Shhets previously and really rated the product. But I’m very disappointed with the bamboo protector. I’ve used it twice so far and my son has woken up completely soaked both times, along with his sheets. It just doesn’t feel as absorbent compared to the normal white protector and I wish I’d bought that one instead.

Brilliant! Fits the bed perfectly and doesnt move around during the night. Very easy to swap in the middle of the night if accidents happen and quick drying once youve washed it. Its exactly what you need.
