Kids Mattress Protector FAQS
Washing your Hygge Sheets® is simple. Just place it in the washing machine at a maximum temperature of 40°C on a normal cycle.
We recommend avoiding fabric conditioner or bleach, as these may degrade the waterproof layer. However, standard washing detergents are safe to use. Your Hygge Sheets® can be washed up to 300 times while remaining waterproof.
Drying is quick and can be done in several ways. For fast drying, tumble dry on low heat. Alternatively, you can hang it on a washing line, a clothes dryer, or a radiator.
If you get a stain on your Hygge Sheets®, we recommend using a cleaner like Vanish as you would do with other stains on clothing. You can then follow this with a normal wash. Don't use bleach.
Unlike conventional mattress protectors, Hygge Sheets® are not designed to cover the entire bed.
Instead, they are made for easy changes while still providing protection for the mattress and sheets from nighttime accidents.
Lay the sheet on top of the normal fitted sheet and tuck the flaps around either side of the mattress. Your child can sleep on top of the sheet allowing for easier bed changes in the night.
Our single mattress protector fits single sized beds, toddler beds, cot beds, and bunk beds.
If you have a double bed or small double - our double mattress protector are the perfect choice.
Hygge Sheets have built-in wings (tucks) that wrap around and slightly under the mattress to keep the protector securely in place.
The waterproof pad sits on top, while the wings prevent slipping or bunching and still make removal quick and easy.
All Single/Todder & Double Kids Hygge Sheets have 18” (45cm) wing length which is more than enough to fit the depth of most mattresses.

I bought the space waterproof mattress protectors (two pack) and they’ve honestly made nights a lot easier. Accidents aren’t such a big deal anymore because I can just swap it out and deal with it in the morning.
My child loves the space print, which is a nice bonus. They’re soft, not noisy, and actually stay in place.
They’ve handled a few accidents already with no leaks, and they wash and dry pretty quickly. Having two is really handy so there’s always a clean one ready.
Only thing I’d say is I wish they did more adult-style designs too.

Bought these to support my little one. Great product, fabulous child friendly designs. Though the product initial feels expensive the quality is fantastic. Very easy to machine wash and dry in no time! Took a couple on holiday recently and my little one’s confidence has definitely grown as we were dry for the entire trip.

Ordered the sheets very easily. Royal Mail lost my parcel. So I contacted Hygge they chased it up, but had no luck unfortunately, so they sent out my same order for me with in 2 days and I recieved the second parcel 2 days after that. Hygger restored my faith in great customer service. And the sheets are comfy, nothing like the disposable ones where it’s like sleeping on a bin bag. Very easy to change when you’re half asleep in the night. And leaves nothing on the mattress at all. All in all does everything it’s advertised. Which is refreshing. Love the sheets!

There is no point buying this product. My son used it for the first time last night. I carefully followed all instructions and he wet straight through it and the sheet below. I took a picture of it but can't upload it to show you all. Please don't waste your money.

Game changer . Got this for my autistic son who is still in nappies and they leak through to his sheets most nights. I was having to change his bedding nearly every day and now I only have to change this. So much easier and less time consuming. It's so soft and comfortable. It fits the bed well and hasn't moved all night and my son does not stay still. Its waterproof and there's no noise from it like other similar products. Love the designs . We choose dinosaurs as that's my autistic sons interest and due to his routine he doesnt like change but because they had dinosaurs hes adjusted to it and kept it on. Love this product. My daughter has been toilet trained for a while but does occasionally have an accident. This sheet not only looks mega cute, it protects her bed some accidents. It's really easy to wash and doesn't let a single drop of wee get to the mattress. The only thing I regret is going so long without one! Deffo a must for potty training or occasionally accidents

I was expecting these sheets to have the usual waterproof backing but they don’t. They are lovely and soft and feel like really good quality. I haven’t used them yet as we are currently in the transition period and waiting for a few dry nights in a row before we rip the plaster off so to speak.
